Surprises

Last night as I was getting ready to leave work at eight p.m. Scott called me. I talked to him about plans for the night as I closed the blinds and clocked out. When I went outside to get into my car I heard a yell from the other direction and spun around to find him parked outside my office on his bike. This was a bit surprising being that I was making plans to meet him at my house. I have always said he was tricky...

Today, I surprised him by bringing him lunch. When I stopped by with a BLT and orange roll in hand, he was on the phone with a girl from the bank trying to clear up a problem with a bounced check from one of his people. I walked over to his desk and deposited my surprise on his desk and he stood up to give me a side hug while he finished up his conversation. Some guy on the other side of the office teased us

"Hey none of that, no hanky panky in here!"

and I laughed. I guess all the commotion caused Scott to get a little flustered, because as he hung up the phone, he said (to the bank girl)

"Ok yeah, I will call you back, I love you, thanks, bye"

all in a rush. Oops! He grimaced and said to me

"Now look what you made me do, I got all confused about who I was talking to. But I love Julie too..."

Huh? What I made you do? Great, now the moment he sees me he proclaims his love to some other girl. *laugh* Oh boy. I guess I did surprise him. And I bet he surprised Julie too... *snicker*
